Incoming: A Native Gmail iPhone App. Finally.
If it’s good, I might even take another look at the iPhone. Siri and Native Gmail would be a potent combo.
parislemon:

At first,...

Terms to NOT use if you want to be followed
Generally speaking, I try to be pretty open in terms of who I follow back on Twitter - it’s a great platform for discovering new conversations and ideas, and I enjoy having the opportunity to engage with new people.
Real people, that is.
But there are a few terms that, if they’re in your profile, make you a no-follow. If you’re a real person - and you want real engagement -...

great post from brycedotvc:
While reading Derek Sivers’ book, Anything You Want, he briefly mentions a bit of the backstory behind Richard Branson’s Virgin Airlines.
So I hunted down a few more details:

The Mail
I went through my postal mail tonight. At this point, it’s something I do, at most, perhaps once a week. Maybe less - I don’t give it much attention anymore.
It was a big pile of paper, to be sure. I’d estimate that less than 5% of it had any value whatsoever. The rest of it was junk mail - nearly all of it asking for money. Politicians, charities, alumni funds, etc…

Finally read through this rant that a number of friends sent over yesterday, and a few thoughts spring to mind:
In a few years, we will be speaking of Jeff Bezos in the same hushed tones that we speak of Steve Jobs. Perhaps we should be today.
I suspect that Google management ‘gets it’ more and is less far behind than this one frustrated engineer thinks. (but then again, I’m...
